Venus Transit

On June 5, Venus will cross in front of the sun and will give people a chance to view the Venus Transit, a rare event. The next one will be in the year 2117 so now is the chance to see it.  It will begin at 6:04 PM and will end at 12:51 AM and will appear as a tiny black dot slowly moving across the sun.  Remember, it is a health risk to look directly at the sun.  This will cause blindness if done at long periods of time.  There are ways to view this event safely and these ways can be found at this link:

I think the best time to view it would be at sunset when the sun is on the horizon and you can look at it without going blind.
