September Review, October Outlook

September ended a little cooler than normal in terms of high temperatures and a degree warmer than normal  for lows. The month also had more rain than average with a total of 5.32 inches which is 1.06 inches more than the average of 4.26 inches.

So what is in store for October?  According to the Climate Prediction Center, temperatures are expected to be cooler than normal. Also, they are forecasting above average precipitation for our area.

October Avg Low:  41°F
October Avg Precip:  3.45 in

This weekend chilly temperatures are expected to move in. This will be the coldest air we've since last Spring.  A chilly start to October for sure...
